About IOW Electrical

An online first electrical service for the Isle of Wight, run on the Island by Ashton Potter.

Run on the Island by Ashton Potter

Ashton Potter is a fifth generation Islander, well known in the local community. He runs IOW Electrical day to day, and every estimate over £1,000 including VAT is checked by him before the customer sees it.

The idea is simple: getting electrical work priced should not mean waiting in for someone to come and look. You describe the job, add photos and see your estimate online, then pick a date that suits you.

One company, start to finish

From your first answer to your final certificate, you deal with IOW Electrical.

Your IOW Electrical electrician
Every job is carried out by a vetted, NICEIC registered local electrician working as part of IOW Electrical.
Estimates in writing
Every estimate lists what it includes and what it assumes. If anything changes, you get a revised price before any work starts.
Guaranteed for 2 years
All our work carries a 2 year workmanship guarantee, with the right certificate for the job.
